Shopping ☆

Hello! It's been a while (´・ω・`)

Today I did some shopping in Primark and I got some cute things ☆
Also, I just received my new camera (it's a Sony NEX-3N) and I want to test some photos haha ❤
So here's what I got:

Cute unicorn sweater! (ノ´∀`*) I really love this. It's a relatively think material but quite warm and the actual unicorn design is printed onto a sort of fluffy fabric, while the rest of the grey part is just regular jumper fabric.

Denim skirt~ It's a sort of skater skirt shape I suppose. I really like plain skater skirts because you can match them with things really easily! I actually had my eye on this for a long time and today it was in the clearance so good things come to those who wait lol (・∀・)

And this denim pinafore/overalls skirt (*´ω`*) It's so cute and gives me quite a spring feeling. This was reduced also ヽ(=´▽`=)ノ It sort of reminded me of this Pokemon trainer when I saw it

So maybe I'll make some kind of Pokemon trainer inspired outfit lol~
I also got some macademia oil hair mask stuff so I'll let you know how that goes! Even though it's only from Primark people have been telling me good things about it (even the lady behind the counter told me they were "ever so good" haha).

Also today I went to explore K.H. Foods! It's a huge Asian food supermarket/warehouse place in Sheffield. It's not far from the station and had a lot of good deals. They sell stuff in bulk / wholesale there, too. It's definitely easier to have a car and go because you can bring a lot more back and it's sort of out of the way, but we went anyway!

I didn't take a photo of everything we bought, but I can tell you that I bought Oolong tea, Rose tea, Instant milk bubble tea (❤), Grape chewy sweets, Japanese curry and some other things! Everything was lots cheaper here than in the import sections of our regular supermarkets so if you're in the Sheffield area you should check it out!

I really love grape-flavoured anything but we don't really have it here in the UK, it's just not a common flavouring. I think in North America (and also Japan) it's quite common right? In the UK I think we have blackcurrent flavoured everything instead lol

That's about it from me today (*´ω`*) Thanks for reading!

I'm a PASSENGER ☆

Hey everyone!

I just finished eating (*´ω`*) I made my favourite Japanese curry again today~ It's so tasty! If you haven't tried Japanese curry before I recommend it!

 おいしい(ノ´∀`*)

Anyway I spent a lot of today watching ShakuUma TV. ShakuUma TV is the variety show of the idol group PASSPO☆. I've been a huge fan of PASSPO☆ for such a long time- before they had their major debut and were still in the indies stage (;・∀・) They're the best!! The best idol group ever!!

If you're unfamiliar with PASSPO☆, they are a "girl's rock unit" with a flight attendant theme under the Universal Music label (*´ω`*) Their major debut single "Shoujo Hikou" was released on May 16th 2011 and hit #1 on the weekly Oricon chart!

A lot of the music they make is has a real rock-vibe to it, it's really unlike most other idol music! If you're interested in music that's a bit different or you enjoy rock themes I'd recommend them (*´ω`*)

Aren't they cute? My "oshimen" (favourite member) is Mori Shiori aka Morishi, the yellow member and PASSPO☆'s "delusional girl". She's full of energy and sometimes not-so-girly with a loud singing voice and lots of talent! I love her! (*´艸`*) Though lately I have fallen in love with purple member Annya, too... どうしようw

PASSPO☆ also use different terminology for things to fit with their "flight attendant" theme.
Leader - "Captain"
Sub Leader - "Chief Purser"
Members - "Crew"
Concert - "Flight"
Tickets - "Passport"
Fans - "Passengers"

Like that ヽ(=´▽`=)ノ It's a great concept!

I hope you'll all become PASSENGERS, too! (♥ω♥)

ALcon ☆

Hey guys!

So on Sunday I attended ALCon in Leicester for Oishii! Ichigo work (ノ´∀`*)

ALcon is run by the Anime League forums and goes on for several days each year.

I had to get my train from Sheffield at around 8:15AM, so I got up pretty early. It's funny, I'm not a very punctual person at all- I'm always late for class and things- but yet for conventions and important (to me) events, I always seem to be super early! I booked my taxi well in advance and arrived at the station at 7AM..... though the station didn't even open til 7:30, so I had to wait around in the cold (´・ω・`)

Selfie opportunity, then (;・∀・)

Anyway, I arrived and met with fellow Oishii! member Scarlett, MK Dance leader Rachel and the lovely Beckii (and Sparkles*) ! The whole crew was here (*´ω`*) It was so lovely to see evryone again!

Of course, this was our first performance since Kelsey has left the group, so it felt pretty strange. We even got quite emotional during "Ai nano?" !! (TдT)

Our performance was...... well let's just say there was an organisational error on their part that made us look kind of unprofessional, and we weren't too happy about it, but... our actual performing went ok I think! ヽ(=´▽`=)ノ Scarlett had her own solo set afterwards which you can watch on her channel! It was great.

Me and Scarlett~

Me and Beckii~ She was so cute (*´艸`*)

For the rest of the day I just hung out with Beckii/Sparkles* on their merchandise stand and spent some time hanging out with Scarlett/Rachel too. It was so nice to be able to catch up with everyone again. Talking over the internet is nice but it's a lot more in person right? ヽ(´ー`)ノ

I got some swag from the event:

2 Area 11 shirts ( ヽ(´ー`)ノ) and some anime notebooks. They were being sold off really cheaply and they're really cute so I thought I'd get some since University will start in a couple of weeks!

Here's the same ones but the back of them~ The inside pages are printed too but I don't have a photo w

Overall it was a really lovely day! I was sad to go!

Hope to see everyone again soon! ヽ(=´▽`=)ノ

Remember your color.

Hey guys!

It's really warm today. In a couple of days, I'm moving back to London for the summer, so that will be cool. I'm going to see Perfume on July 5th to kick it off, so I'm really excited! I'm also gonna get to see a lot of friends, so yay~

Anyway, today I finally went to pick this up from the post office!!!

It's nano's first ever live album!! "Remember your color." And it's sooooo good. T^T

If you've been living under a rock (lol) , my favourite musical artist is nano. I love nano soooo much. T^T I think she's the most talented and wonderful person ever. I've been such a big fan since even before nano's major debut, so following the journey has been really emotional for me (lol)

If you haven't heard nano, please listen some time!! If you like rock music, please do! Nano had the big break recently doing the opening song to the anime "BTOOOM!" so maybe you might have heard that already.

This CD/DVD combo is about the first live, and contains a mini-documentary about the rehearsals and stuff. It was really heartwarming ;___;

It even came with this mini-poster, it has all of the lyrics etc on the back. Ahh I'm so happy!!

Just sharing my fangirl moment. (lol)

That's really all I had to say. I want to spread the awareness of nano!!

UK Oishii Newspaper Photoshoot!

Hi guys!

It's been a little while. I thought I would blog about the (kinda) recent photoshoot I did with Oishii! Ichigo members Kelsey and Scarlett! Well, it's mostly photos but I hope you can enjoy looking at it. I really love the Oishii girls and it's always so much fun to meet up with them!! I had such a good time. I had to get a train quite early and I actually bumped into one of my Japanese teachers on the way there, so I ended up speaking Japanese all morning.  ;;; Even though I was so tired!! OTL

I had to start the day with no makeup/hair not done. Well, I'm wearing concealer and mascara. ;; Because there would be a stylist at the shoot!

The shoot was for a newspaper called The Sun in the UK to do with "kawaii" fashion, or harajuku fashion basically. Of course in the articles in the UK they dumb down the concept a lot but hey (´・ω・`) The article itself was pretty decent! If you want to read it, you can do so here:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/4957331/Kawaii-babies.html

I'll warn you that people haven't been so nice in the comments (´・ω・`)

This was all three of us putting our things out to create outfits! It's really colourful right?

Myself getting my hair and makeup done. Hehe~ The makeup they put on was LOTS and quite dark. It made our Purikura come out quite funny ww

For you Kelsey fans~ Kelsey having her photos taken. Isn't she adorable??

Us three went to take purikura afterwards! I have a video of that that I will upload on my Oishii youtube channel! ヽ(=´▽`=)ノ

I took a photo of myself there too ww

Then we had subway. You know, subway is one of my favourite things to eat. It's sooo tasy! >3< I like to get the turkey breast and ham usually!! With a soft drink if I'm feeling sugary or just water usually. Needless to say after all of the cuteness I was definitely feeling sugary. (Suddenly this has become a blog about food lol)

Me and Scarlett both love food you know. ww We have a lot in common actually (ノ´∀`*)

Well that's it from me! Thanks for reading!!

Golden Chinatown

Hi guys!

Today I'm just writing a post on my thoughts on Berryz Koubou's new single, Golden Chinatown.  I thought since I'm into JPOP and stuff I'd start doing reviews and such on here. (´・ω・`)

Basically let me start off by saying that I do actually love the song, but I think the PV is pretty freaking bad. I thought Asian Celebration looked alright to be honest, but this is... just bad. It's like they spent no money and time or thought on these poor girls. (TдT) I mean even for Hello! Project standards it's bad. (Haha, it shouldn't be at a point where we can say this!)

Yeah, the outfits are dumb but I do think they all look gorgeous. Except for Momoko. Who needs to stop those damn pigtails. =__=" (I... really don't like Momoko at all though, so I won't talk about her again. I don't want to be biased.) But yeah it kind of looks like the hot glued some gold stuff on what might have been a nice outfit. (^_^;) I think Maasa's is the worst... poor girl.

I like the lyrics, I think the ~chaina puns are pretty cute, and the song is pretty... alluring? I like Berryz' more mature image so I'm into it. (*´ω`*) The melody is cool, and the high notes are a nice touch. I'm not the type of person who cares about line distribution at all but it was very nicely spaced out if you're into that which is a nice touch! The song also has a kind of nostalgic feel to it I think. It's really pleasant to listen to! (*´艸`*)

But this PV is... just bad. (´・ω・`) The lights are obviously recycled from Brainstorming's PV and I wish they would stop doing this- that is, discovering something and then using it to death. I mean sure the girls look nice under the lights but really there is NOTHING to this PV (and to be honest I felt the same way about Brainstorming). They deserve more than dancing in front of a crappy backdrop with some nice close ups.  Although having said that, I like the dance. I think it's cool and elegant in places, with little bits of cute and sexy. Captain looked fantastic dancing to it of course, haha.

I don't know why I got so worked up over it because it's expected of Hello! Project and Kimi Sae was worse than this IMO but I think it's because Berryz has had nice PVs recently too (I liked Be Genki, WANT and Cha Cha Sing you know?) and it's like oh and this one we just through together. m(__)m
I'd still buy the single though... (;´∀`)

And that concludes my thoughts! Lol. If you're wondering who my Berryz oshimen is by the way, it's Risako. (*´艸`*) Now that Reina's gone she's probably my top in H!P (though she's fighting Sayashi and Sayu for that place).

Reina and Final Fantasy

 Hey everyone!

Sorry for not blogging frequently. Busy busy you know~

Tanaka Reina graduated from Morning Musume! She's been my favourite since I got into MM. It will be weird seeing MM without her, but I look forward to her work in Lovendor~ (*´艸`*)

My makeup ended up like this on the graduation day lol

Since light blue was Reina's colour you know~ (And you can see my Feyris NyanNyan mug. ww) I've been into wearing bright colours in my makeup recently actually. It feels pretty summery! Although it's been raining and grey in the UK as usual. Haha (´・ω・`)

I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy lately. I've been replaying VII and Crystal Chronicles, and I've watched some gameplay of Type 0 which my friend will lend me at some point~ Excited to play it, looks really good! It's a shame it's not localised yet, though. Good Japanese practise for me (*´ω`*) And you know, Crystal Chronicles is really addicting. I've been playing with my housemate and we're on the 14th year already O__O" I play as a Selkie (the best race!!) but they play as a Clavat. We wanted to play it on the proper multiplayer mode but we don't have the cables! So we're just taking turns on solo player. One day we'd like to play the proper multiplayer mode with our other friends too >__<

I'd really like to cosplay someone from FF but I don't know who I would suit (/_;) I'd love to cosplay someone cool like Sice from Type 0, or maybe Yuffie~ We'll see I suppose!!

I don't know which cosplays I'll do for the coming Hyper Japan. My fallbacks are Makise Kurisu and Ayanami Rei but I'd like to do something new. I'd like to try Nyaruko-chan or Vocaloid IA if I can (・∀・)

Oh, by the way, I've been reading this book about idol culture in Japan. It's really interesting so if you are interested in idols I would totally recommend it!! Especially if you're someone who is interested in trying to become one.

That's about all from me today =3=

Byebye!
